File Access

Background

HPSD provides teachers with three ways to access files when working outside of the school district. The authors of this Wiki highly recommend that teachers become familiar with file creation and management using Google Docs. This is probably the best way for our students to work on class material both in the classroom and at home. By using Google Docs our students eliminate the problems that often arise when working at home. Basically, since Google Docs can be used on virtually any computer with a web browser we do not have to troubleshoot the problems caused by students using different versions or incompatible software at home. Requiring students to use Google Docs for assignments can save teachers a lot of headaches but does not solve all teacher access requirements. The following screencasts offer file management solutions for teachers without the need to use a jump drive or email files back and forth.
