Technology Tuesday Update

This week:

This will be the last Technology Tuesday session of the year. JJ Dugan will be presenting an online portfolio created using Google Sites. I believe JJ made this portfolio for a graduate class. These types of portfolios of student work are becoming increasing more popular. The session will take place in room 154.

Please take the attendance survey.

Next week:

No session.

Last week:

An alternative to having students give live presentations using google docs and Cam Studio was presented. If you missed the session and are interested in learning more please let me know. I can forward you a blog post complete with student directions and examples.

Ed Tech Resources Update:

This week Dave upgraded Google Apps for Education to the newest version. You know have access to most of Google’s services from your school account. These include applications like Google Reader, Blogger, and Voice. Access to gmail, Docs, Sites, and Calendar have not changed. Moodle 2.0 is out and we have been reviewing the update. I suspect we will be upgrading Moodle in the near future as well.
