Week 4

posted Oct 18, 2010, 11:41 AM by Jason Suter
We believe Technology Tuesday continues to be a great use of collaboration time. Due to the short time we have available for instruction, we will continue to offer “show and tell” type sessions in the future. In addition to exposing you to the technologies available, we hope to also provide you with tools you need to incorporate them into your curriculum. In an effort to accomplish this goal, after considering suggestions made at Tuesday’s meeting, next week's meeting will be our first open workshop session. There will be no specific topic this week, rather you are invited to come and work in a collaborative environment. We will do our best to provide support during this time.

If you missed the session on Google Sites, or would like to review the information at your own pace, you can find screencasts of everything covered and more here on the Edtech Resources Page.

Please take a moment and fill out this pre-session survey. In addition to tracking attendance, this survey will aid us in determining the best way to make this a productive experience. Room locations will be announce later.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to determine the best way to aid you in incorporating 21st Century Skills in the classroom!

Blog Post of the Week:

21st Century Educators Don’t Say, “Hand It In.” They say, “Publish It!”

This is from November of 2009 written by The Innovative Educator. Interesting post that offers a different view of student assignments. I read this last year and found it inspired me think differently when creating new projects. The principle is great, but is this truly possible?
